National Men's Top Club Competition
TOP CLUB NEWS
Eleven of our Newick Bowls Club players travelled to Uckfield last Sunday, 10th May, to play in the preliminary round of the National Mens Top Club. A competitive game was had over 5 disciplines … 2-wood singles, 4-wood singles, pairs, triples and a rink. The team bowled brilliantly, did us all proud and won 4-1 and move onto Round 1 where they will play away at either Seaford or Rottingdean.
Congratulations and well done to all those who played. We wish you the best of luck in the next round.
Another chance to try lawn bowls
We had a very succesful Open Day on Sunday 3rd May - the sun shone, the green was looking fabulous and people enjoyed themselves. Some new members came long and practiced and got to know some of the existing members who were there to help them.
We had a good response with people turning up to try it out and some of them are coming back again, hoping to join up shortly.
So now there is another chance to GIVE BOWLS A TRY. We are holding another session on Saturday 23rd May from 10.00am to 12 noon. There will be members to help you have a go, have a look at the club's facilities and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.

Open Days
We have two club OPEN DAYS coming up in May.
Sunday, the 3rd May at 10.00am until 12 noon.
Saturday 23rd May at 10.00am until 12 noon.
Please drop in and see our Club, see what we have to offer by way of fun and competitive bowling, social events and friendship. Enjoy a cuppa and see how its done, then have a go yourself.
All we ask is you wear flat soled shoes.
